Range is excellent! Choose beans and peas (kidney, pinto, black, or white beans; split peas; chickpeas; hummus), soy products (tofu, tempeh, veggie hamburgers), and unsalted peanuts and seeds.

Vary your fruits & vegetables
Obtain the nutritional elements your system needs through eating multiple colors, in various techniques. Take to blue, purple, or black fruits; red and yellow peppers; and dark greens like spinach and kale. Choose fresh, frozen, low-sodium canned, dried, or 100 percent liquid options.

Don’t forget dairy
Foods like fat-free and low-fat milk, mozzarella cheese, yogurt, and strengthened soy beverages (soymilk) help to build and continue maintaining strong bones necessary for each day activities.

Balance your meals

Take in water
Stay hydrated by drinking liquid in place of sweet drinks. Hold a reusable water container with you to usually have water readily available.
